Massimiliano Allegri is bullish about Juventus' chances of keeping Paul Pogba, saying the French star will want to stay at one of Europe's 'big four clubs' as they can challenge for the Champions League.
Rumours continue to rumble about Pogba making a return to Manchester United, who will not play in Europe's top club competition. The player - who has been staying in shape while on holiday in the US - has been giving mixed signals over his future in Italy, describing United as his 'first family'.
Juventus officials insist no bid had been tabled for the midfielder, despite persisting reports of talks being underway over a £100million move for the 23-year-old.

Now Allegri has effectively told Pogba that he would taking a step down to move back to Old Trafford and that Juve are one of Europe's top sides who hold Champions League winning-ambitions.
'I am calm about the English rumours,' Allegri told Gazzetta dello Sport.
'Anyone who has the opportunity to leave Juventus has to consider things very carefully, because right now Juve are among the top four European clubs.
'This is not a selling club that just lets its players go. Pogba belongs to Juve and at the end of the day he too will want to win another Scudetto and hopefully the Champions League.
'We have grown in terms of appeal and awareness of our own capabilities. So far our market this summer has been eight out of 10, bringing in players of international pedigree like Medhi Benatia, Dani Alves and Miralem Pjanic.'
